About Me and my tablet

Tablet making came to me late in life (Nope, I won't give my age away except to say I am no spring chicken)
After selling commercially made tablet for a few months, I tried making it myself in my home kitchen in East Kilbride, Scotland.

My first two flavours were whisky and peanut butter. I was setting up at a lot of highland games that first summer, and I thought these two flavours were perfect for the American tourists.

The big Aha! moment came, not at a highland games with lots of American tourists, but at the Strathaven hot air balloon festival. Just a few short miles from my home, and it wasn't tourists, but mostly locals.

People were going nuts (pardon the pun) for my peanut butter tablet. Sold out in just a couple of hours, but people kept coming asking for it all weekend long. That was me hooked. Four years later, my traditional tablet won a Great Taste award, which just put the icing on the cake.

Fast forward to today, Lovingly handmade by me in Muirkirk, Ayrshire, Scotland. I took over the old Muirkirk chippy that had been lying empty for years and turned it into my kitchen. Now, I can ensure that each bag or box of luxury tablet or fudge is an irresistible blend of caramel flavour and crumbly, melt-in-the-mouth texture. One bite alone is simply impossible. And except for the strongest-willed, one piece is too! With over 20 unique flavours to choose from, my award-winning tablet and fudge has something for everyone. A perfect treat, a perfect gift - an authentic wee taste of Scotland’s sweetest.
2026 brings about my entry into the wholesale trade, and I hope you will join me by stocking my tablet and fudge at your outlet.
